| New dawn, new brush.....same result. Aussies in London FB page offering tix for a tenner.....it seems the thought process at the club is identical to what has gone on before....build a team, win games and fans will come (and when they dont we will heavily discount and undermine the value of a season ticket)..... ......I know there is a belief that "this time it will be different" but it really feels like they havent a clue of how to market to londoners and they are heading down a "lets make this a big walkabout thing".....
Building a business is about customers and repeat customers.......this isnt going to end well.

| I get the scepticism. London fans have been burned before and nobody’s pretending the past didn’t happen. But this isn’t the same club going round the same loop with a new badge. The ownership is different, the decision makers are different and the expectations are different. Discounted tickets in year one aren’t some moral failure, they’re a way of getting people through the gate in a city where you’re competing with absolutely everything. You don’t create repeat customers without first creating customers, and very few Londoners are buying a season ticket for a club they’ve never experienced.
Nobody’s claiming guaranteed success, and there are no silver bullets. But writing it off as “same result” before a ball’s been kicked feels more like muscle memory than analysis. This time really is different in the one way that actually matters. The old guard is gone. That doesn’t mean it will definitely work, but it does mean it deserves a bit of patience before we decide it’s doomed and start playing the greatest hits of London rugby league despair.
