I'm sure it's more than just being an "international" player for the PNG players. Don't they have to have played in a World Cup game in either 2008 or 2013 World Cups and I don't think Gary Lo has done that. It was being said that he was to receive a £40k contract and a place on a course at Newcastle Uni!!!!

Thunder have also signed a player, Dayne Craig, who is not an NRL player and won the Player of the Year in the NSWRL Ron Massey Cup competition in 2014, signed from Western Suburbs Magpies. Other clubs seem to struggle to get visas but Thunder seem to know all the answers to the questions to get one.

Have Fevs players arrived yet? Fax's players are now here and from what I hear its simply a case of going about the process correctly and early as the applications can take a few months and by the sounds of it the 3 we signed from the mounties we signed very early last season.

whitehaven also have 3 PNG players coming over subject to visas but that shouldn,t be a problem

Are these RFL rules or border agency rules? If border agency then obviously nothing can be done but if it's the RFL it could do with being looked at; it's obvious Curtis Johnson would have been an asset to The Championship, surely more so than some players that have been permitted.
