| Manly have already lost two star back rowers Glen Stewart (South Sydney) and Anthony Watmough (Parramatta) plus Jason King (retired) in 2015. They will have lost Daley Cherry Evans (Gold Coast) and Kieran Foran (Parramatta) in 2016. Thus the guts of the side have been ripped out. Only the outside backs remain unscathed. This suggests that Manly will come looking to Super League for replacements. The Catalans' Todd Carney has already been identified as one choice. Expect Manly also to go after two or three top SL backrowers and props, such as Mose Masoe, Louis McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Joseph Greenwood, Kyle Amor, Alexander Walmsley, Christopher Hill, and others.
Canberra Raiders and NZ Warriors also have problems recruiting talent from within Australia. They may also come to England looking for talent, as they have done already with Joshua Hodgson and Samuel Tomkins.
If so it will bleed some exciting talent out of Super League.

| Of those listed only Mose Masoe, widely tipped for a return to the NRL anyway, is out of contract.

Contracts mean nothing when it comes to international transfers, or code transfers, as we have seen with Samuel Burgess and Jarryd Hayne.

Black Backgrounds/Zoot.gif Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

| Can't see them being interested in LMS. The fact that, with his ability, Saints generally only use him off the bench might indicate that he's got a long term injury that makes them doubt if he can last a full game - perhaps something to do with the taping and bandages that are a permanent feature of his upper arms these days. I'm also puzzled as to why on earth DCE is going to Gold Coast of all clubs - I'd have thought that staying at Brookie'd be much nicer!

| Local report in Hull suggest they are interested in Albert Kelly. Now with the ink not yet dry on a three year deal I'd hope this isn't true.
Kelly is a special player who in a very short space of time is becoming a bit of a cult hero.
His partnership with Campese is blossoming nicely & with Kelly, Campese & Sio proving to be brilliant recruits we have the chance to build something special at Rovers.
14 new recruits and where 5 games in, We shouldn't be gelling yet but we certainly are.

Wouldn't be easier to swap the players from Manly with those from HKR?
I doubt if anyone would notice the difference, particularly regarding accents!

| Leaguefan, Maybe you should keep in touch with whats going on in the world of Rugby league. Only four SL clubs have less antipodian players on there books then Rovers.
Huddersfield (2)
Warrington (3)
Wigan (3)
St Helens (5)
Admittedly we got a reputation for signing overseas players when we had to fight to stay in SL but the number has dropped continuously since back then

Leeds too, I believe. Unless I've had a mental block, I can only think of Delaney, Kylie, Cuthbertson and Moon. Not knocking Rovers' efforts though.

This is terrible news. Unfortunately Manly has bucket loads of money to tempt any SL player with. Just when Hull KR has started to play brilliantly with Kelly, Campese and Sio on fire, Manly predators may break up the party of Hull KR success in 2016. It will be a tragedy if it happens.

It had nothing to do with humour. It was a simple ill-informed perception of Hull Kingston Rovers.

I'll translate on behalf of pseudo-franco-douze
Manly have been linked to some players in the UK and it's all over the australian media, but I'll make it look like I'm in the know.
