There is enough quality in that side to go on a run at some point. But can they grind out a few results whilst we are low on bodies?

You can't imagine Gaskell will be fit for Fax and that a big concern as Widnes coped very easily against us playing with Lilley and Jowitt. Missing some of big forwards as well, it is going to need to be a big effort.

I thought The Bulls players put in a great effort last night and would have won many a game with that sort of spirit, endeavour and commitment.
Injuries do cause disruption so without them you no doubt would have been a little closer.

The event, opening night was brilliant imo, both sets of fans contributing greatly to a proper Rugby League atmosphere!

How did Flanagan get on? Listening to the commentary it sounded like he kept trying to dive over from dummy half but failed on each occasion. It’s rather predictable and against stronger opposition rarely seems to pay off.

Usually if there is a head on head clash, the tackler can be deemed reckless. Similar to the head clash that broke Okoro’s jaw. Which would have probably been Croft or Griffin with the channel Okoro was running into

Apparently Cameron Worsley was in the Black Horse during the game last night and he saw Jorge use his head deliberately and dropped Marcus a text, I’m afraid he’s looking at another 6 or 7 week ban.

In all seriousness it was poor technique from Tafua who was clearly trying to make a big impact to dislodge the ball, he hasn’t gone to deliberately attack Griffins head. The RFL disciplinary have completely lost all common sense at the moment though so who knows what they’ll come up with.
