So that's 4 key positions to recruit for with probably 3 quota spots.
Ideally I'd try and get a uk prop and release Sao giving us 4 quota spots for those position.
If we could add in the likes of

O Sullivan
Woolford
Allick
Think we might have the funds to pay a transfer fee too.

I think it has already been ruled out but Whitehead would be a great signing for a year. Like Asiata he's a leader something we have been lacking in abundance for years. Signing Whitehead would leave us more options to utilise the quota places. It will never happen so I'm just wasting my time discussing it! |

Be a brilliant signing for a year, would mean we wouldn't need to use an overseas spot on a quota player.
Still a very good player.
Be tough to beat Catalans to his signature though.

Holmes whilst not being a top class signing is a solid signing and will be an improvement on what we have (though that’s not too difficult).
As long as we don’t waste our quota spots like we have for the past few years signings like Holmes will bolster the squad and help bring on the younger players.

I'm personally REALLY pleased with Holmes. A real step up on our 2nd row options.
In a salary cap sport you can't field the Harlem Globe Trotters and need horses for courses.
Just what we need at this phase. Good signing.

| I have been impressed with Holmes at Leigh after a poor spell at Warrington. He looks leaner and quicker, and an improvement on our back row. If we can't sign Kikau, then Holmes is the next best thing |
