I'm sure we will use a quota spot on a 9 and 7 and probably a centre or backrow (hopefully both).

Holmes will be 32 by the start of next season so 2 years is a minor risk but probably reflects the pond we're fishing in. He's better than our current 2nd row options.

Hopefully we'll have 4 more quota spots. As someone else said, these need to be used on a 7, 9, centre and 2nd row unless we've managed to pick up a decent non quota option in any of those positions.

Chamberlain is OK and could be competition for Sutcliffe but those 2 as our first choice centre partnership doesn't fill me with much joy.

Chamberlain will be gone in 2 weeks, if not sooner. We have him on a month's loan but Beaumont has thrown his toys out after the Asiata deal

He is definitely a good signing, but one we couldn't afford to take, signing a prop at his age, his style (although SL has calmed down) who plays 40 mins a game.
