Quote: Stu M "I must admit I was embarrassed by quite a few Saints fans today and not for the first time away from home. I know who she is without even watching videos as she was a few rows behind us.
We have a great away following in the main, taking big numbers and are loud but we have definitely attracted a yobbish element, lads who can’t take their ale and think they are untouchable. I went with my eldest lad today who’s 13 and my mate and his lad who is only 6.
We both said that that is probably the last time we’ll go on a coach. We normally take it in turns to drive but given the distance today and it was a Saturday afternoon we thought we’d take a coach from a pub. I’ve normally only taken coaches from the club before. After today it’s not for me. I’ll drive next time regardless of distance.'"
This sort of behaviour needs eradicating, not just at Saints but all clubs. The lack of a policing presence is an issue however, each club has a duty to identify such morons and issue them with a significant ban (if not a lifetime ban). A family sport is being hijacked by morons.
