Thirty-three incidents involving players from Super League teams were investigated by the RFL disciplinary after last weekends Challenge Cup and round Eleven fixtures.

After consideration of the video evidence there were six charges brought, and one caution issued, to Ashley Gibson of Castleford Tigers for use of the knees in the fifty-ninth minute of their game against Widnes.

Of the charges brought, three were resolved through early guilty pleas (EGP's) and three resulted in a trip to appear before the panel.

Salford Red Devils are in trouble once again. Corey Paterson and Darrell Griffin have both been charged for incidents in the Challenge Cup loss to Leigh Centurions. Griffin was charged with a high tackle on Barlow in the 25th minute, a Grade B offence, and accepted the charge with an EGP taking a one game suspension.

Paterson was charged with a Grade D offence following a late tackle on McNally in the opening minute of the game. The charge carried a 3 to 5 game suspension and Paterson got the minimum, a three game ban.

Hull KR had two players charged after their win over the Bradford Bulls, also in the Cup. James Donaldson accepted an EGP for kicking O'Brien in the 47th minute and picked up a one game ban. Adam Walker appeared before the panel for a Grade A offence of striking, again on O'Brien in the 39th minute and with the charge tariff set at No Further Action to a one game suspension, Walker was just fined with no suspension.

There were two charges from a third game, the Giants against the Dragons. Jeff Lima of the Dragons was charged with a Grade B (1 to 2 matches) for an 68th minute contact on Ta'ai, and given a two match suspension by the disciplinary committee. Jack Hughes of the Giants was charged with an 11th minute dangerous contact on Casty, a Grade A offence, and accepted an EGP with no further action.
